What is it like to live in Poznan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Poznań is a great city, where is a lot of students, so...u will not get bored here. You have got a lot of possibilities to do whatever u want! Great city, amazing atmosphere, awesome people....so what to want more?
What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?
...like I wrote, it's a city with a lot of possibilities, so when you don't have to go on the classes and have free time - you're just going out on the Old Town and have fun!
How much does it cost to live in Poznan?
Living is Poznań is not as cheap but also it's not as expensive like in Warszawa or Kraków. There is a lot of discounts for students - in restaurants, clubs, shops.
So in depend...if u're living in dormitory - costs will be lower for sure (that living in flat)
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Poznan? Is there any advice you can give?
There is no problem to find an accommodation in Poznań. Maybe can be problem with living in dormitory, but if u wanna live in flat, there's no problem. There is a lot agencies which can find good accommodation for u or u can just find an advertisement at the university or street that sb is looking for a flatmate. Just look for in the net or check at ur university ;)
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
I guess that polish food is so delicious - but it's just my opinion. If you are a foreigner, u have to try polish dishes like a: pierogi, bigos or schabowy - yummy!
What places would you recommend visiting in Poznan?
Hmm...difficult question - for sure Old Town, moreover during the night when nightlife starts :) amazing atmosphere
Is it good to eat out in Poznan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
I don't eat out as often, because I prefer to cook sth for me and my friends, but for sure there is good place to eat sth like Piccolo or spanish restaurant Pika Pika
Is the nightlife good in Poznan? Where is good to go?
Nightlife is Poznań is so good. There is a lot of clubs and quite all of them are on the Old Town or close to the Old Town. For me the best clubs are: Cuba Libre, Czekolada or Blueberry.
What advice would you give future students heading to Poznan?
Just have fun ;)
