Because of the distance to my home country.

If you prefere free time to studing - YES.
What is the food like?
Pierogi and pancakes.
How much does it cost to live in Poznan?
Poznan is not much expensive city, in one day of week are museums for free and food is also not so expensive.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I am from Czech Republic, so it is not so diffucult to uderstand. Language courses are not available in my university and it is also quite difficult to find some commercial language school.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Poznan from your city?
By Polski Bus.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Poznan?
I prefere restaurants in the shopping mall "Poznan City Centre", especially restaurant "Olimp"
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
All museums are amazing, and some have free entrance on Saturday. In Poznan is also big library and nice lake Malta with sport areal.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Poznan in the future?
Public transport in Poznan for 4 months only for 155 zl.
