Why did you choose to go to Poznan, Poland?

Poznan is one of the most affordable cities of Poland as well as of Europe, with best universities and a large number of international students. So, the affordability for living and affordable universities that could help me to achieve a European degree and quality education is the reason I chose Poznan, Poland.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship is for 1 year. I haven't received any money.

What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?

It's quite cool. With interesting daily routines of study on the weekdays and free, fun time and refreshment at the clubs and parties in the weekend.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Poznan to other students?

Yeah surely.

What is the food like?

The food tastes great. Delicious cuisine of Poland. But just they don't want much spicy food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Poznan?

We found the accommodation on our own. There are several helpful sites like Gumtree and Olx to find accommodation. They don't charge you for finding a accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Poznan?

I think it cost around 2000zl along with the accommodation, utilities and other extra charges.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No, Polish is one of the most difficult languages to understand and learn. Certainly, there are language courses available at the University.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Poznan from your city?

I think for me it would be travel by bus. It is quite economical and easiest way.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Poznan?

There are lots of good clubs and pubs in Poznan. Live music pubs are also recommendable.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Poznan?

I don't know much but having a meal at McDonalds and KFC or Bistro Roti would be good for food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Castles, theatres, museums and many more places are here for cultural refreshments.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Poznan in the future?

Poznan is one of the greatest places to live with affordable prices and friendly people around. But it is better for international students to learn Polish language because it would be a great help.
