Why did you choose to go to Poznan, Poland?
My friends who where there last year recommended me to go, I accepted their recommendation and I didn't regret it.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My scholarship is for one semester. So for about four months it's 1500 euro.
What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?
It's very good. Poznan is a very dynamic city. So almost every night you can go socialize with Erasmus people go play some games or just met people for a beer.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Poznan to other students?
Of course. Now I definitely want to come back one day.
What is the food like?
I usually cook for myself, because food is cheap in stores but in restaurants is also cheap and very tasty.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Poznan?
Since I'm in private dorm, price is bit higher. But it's not that expensive.
How much does it cost to live in Poznan?
Per day- if you want to just eat and drink without any other costs it's very, very cheap.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language is easy to learn, I didn't have any problem. Every course was available.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Poznan from your city?
Plane tickets are cheap and with a student card you can get train 50% discount on train tickets.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Poznan?
My favourite nightclubs are Project Lab and Cuba Libre, Wroclavska Street for a drink.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Poznan?
I don't know the names but they are all placed in city center or near.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The city center, everything is placed nearby.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Poznan in the future?
Come in Poznan and enjoy the city and its culture, good university, good people, nice girls and beer. Definitely good choice.
