It is a very comfortable and safe city. The organization of it is in a good level.

What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?

It is enjoyable.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Poznan to other students?

I would definitely recommend this city and Poznan University of Economics and Business to other students.

What is the food like?

You can find a very huge variety of foods from different parts of the world, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, etc.

Was it difficult to find your accommodation in Poznan?

I am staying at the University Student Housing, it was very easy to apply and to find a place.

How much does it cost to live in Poznan?

It depends of the lifestyle that you have, but generally with an amount of 300 euro per month (the cost of rent included) you may have a very comfortable life.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there some language courses available at the University?

The Polish is not an easy language, but if you know how to communicate in English, and you have learned a few words in Polish, you will have no problem. Yes there are some university language courses available. You can learn, English Business, German, Spanish, French etc. It depends on your major.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Poznan from your city?

Trams are a very good solution, so practical and always in time.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Poznan?

There are so many places that you could go so it would be no problem to find a proper one for you.

Can you recommend some good restaurants in Poznan?

  • Taj Mahal

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

  • Old Market Square
  • Malta Lake
  • Cytadela Park (there are so many beautiful parks in Poznan)

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Poznan in the future?

  • Take with you some warm clothes in your luggage. It is very windy.
  • Enjoy your time here as much as possible.
