Why did you choose to go to Poznan, Poland?

I have a lot of friends who studied here in Poznan and they didn't complain about anything of the city. It's a great city with a lot to offer.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

In Norway you don't get any scholarships for a one year course. But my parents send me money every month and for me I don't need more than 2000PLN per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?

It is great! I love living in the dorm. I've got a lot of friends here and I can learn a lot about other people's cultures and i get connections over the whole world.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Poznan to other students?

Absolutely! I haven't studied in many countries but I don't have to to know that Poznan is the perfect place to study. And AMU is a great place to study.

What is the food like?

A lot of different cultures are here, so they brought the food as well. And I love that i can get all different types of food anytime I want.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Poznan?

No, AMU helped me find a great Dorm.

How much does it cost to live in Poznan?

For me no more than 2000PLN per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

In my course there are Polish classes included. The polish language is hard, Im not going to lie, but you will get it. Its not that hard to learn if you really want to.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Poznan from your city?

For me it's flight from Norway.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Poznan?

I would recommend going to the cinema. I like the one in Poznan Plaza.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Poznan?

I like Rico's Kitchen. The best Chinese food in town!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I haven't been anywhere yet.. So I really wouldn't know.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Poznan in the future?

Only that if you decide to come here, you won't regret it!
