Why did you choose to go to Poznan, Poland?
Because of cheap living prices in comparison with other European countries.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Poznan to other students?
Poznan is very beautiful city but honestly people don't like foreigners at all.
What is the food like?
They use so much cabbage and pork in meals, and they have some cookies that you can't realize if it is sour, bitter, salty or sweet.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Poznan?
There are cheap accommodations, but unfortunately most of landlords want to have only polish tenants.
How much does it cost to live in Poznan?
İt depends on people. Maybe at least 800-1000pln monthly (including accommodation).
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Polish is very difficult. And courses are very expensive.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Poznan?
There are lots of pubs in the centre of Poznan.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Poznan in the future?
İf you don't know polish, you should learn before coming here. Because they require polish language in every part of life. And honestly most of them are not so hospitable and they don't like foreigners.
