Erasmus Experience in Poznan, Poland by Alvaro
Why did you choose to go to Poznan, Poland?
Basically, because it is very cheap to live there and because the people there normally speak English.
What is the student lifestyle like in Poland?
There are loads of students from all over the world, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey and of course, Poland.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Poznan to other students?
Of course, choosing Poland was a hit.
What is the food like?
Personally, I don't like it a lot. The meat doesn't have much flavour and the fish isn't fresh. However, the pierogies (Polish dumplings) are really good.
Did it cost you to find accommodation in Poznan?
Not at all. I lived in my university's halls.

It's very cheap compared to Spain. A month of accommodation costs around 80 euros and you can eat for 3 euros in a lot of places.

Polish is impossible. Luckily, a lot of people speak English (not everyone, mainly younger people).
