Live in porto it’s same thing if you are from Spain and live in Barcelona! Lisbon and porto are ao different cities. In my opinion I prefer porto because have more culture, more monuments, the people are more friendly, every time they are with smile in the face! I really recommend you to visit porto! You won’t be regret

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

In Porto there are two famous streets, the name is “galerias” and they are in the center. You can go there without pay nothing, enjoy with your friends and drink something. Also have a bar that have a name ERASMUS BAR

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

It’s a little bit expensive, but there are dorms here, and cost about 300€ per month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Porto? Is there any advice you can give?

It’s not difficult find some accommodation in porto. The only problems is that porto are looking for a lot of people and the prices of the house are increase

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The most famous food in porto is “francesinha”. You should to try because are so amazing. My favorite dishes it’s “tripas à moda do Porto”.

What places would you recommend visiting in Porto?

We have a lot of places to visite with a lot of story, but the most of famous are “ponte d.luis”, “igreja dos clérigos”, “livraria lello” and “palácio da bolsa”

Is it good to eat out in Porto? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes in porto you can find all kinds of food. My favorites restaurantes to eat in porto are:”marianus hamburgeria artesanal” and “MUU Steakhouse”

Is the nightlife good in Porto? Where is good to go?

As I told you we have two streets that have a lot of pubs and clubs. For you start the night you should go this streets, after that(about 3am) you need to go to Eskada disco because everyone in this hour going there

What advice would you give future students heading to Porto?

If you go to porto you choose the best city to enjoy. In porto there are a lot of foreigners, the food it’s good, the night don’t stop in porto, you can go out every night and you’ll find some pub open. I really recommend you to come here!
