Why have you decided to go to Porto, in Portugal?
Because there are bigger opportunities, compered to the other european cities...
For how long is the scolarship? How mauch money do you receive?
I have an erasmus trainership scolarship and it's for 3 month. The money you receive depend on your university and your region.
How is the student enviroment?
Amazing, it's unique: everything is big but not too much... just to the right point!
Do you reccomend the city and the university of Porto to other students?
Yes of course!
How is the food?
Few pizza, few mozzarelle, few italian food... but the traditional food is better then other international dishes, it's cheaper, even if it's heavier!
How did you find an accomodation?
On the internet!
How much is the rent? How much does it cost live there?
It depends on where you are, as in all the big cities, if you are in the ciy centre is higher, in the suburbs less... but you can find one for 200/250€
How is the language? Did you study it at the University?
You can learn portuguese even without any course, even is slowly...it's better to learn it, you just need willpower!
What is the cheaper way to arrive in Porto?
By plane. Porto-Pisa and then Pisa-alghero or Pisa-madrid Madrid-Porto that is always cheap.
What places do you reccomend to go to go out in Porto?
Piolho, Ribeira, Foz
Best places where to eat?
Any places that have "francesinhas" and "vinho" at a resonable pirce is good! Expecially if it's a portuguese restourant.
Cultural places to visit?
So many! Serralves, casa da musica, etc!
Any advice for future students?
Go there!
