What is it like to live in Porto? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

For me is perfect place for erasmus exchange, you have river, ocean, a lot of beautiful and historical places, the best parties, nice and really open people, amazing culture. They people can even party on the street and the Mondays on Ribeira- where people meet and when is hot and you have amazing view by night is the best one.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

a lof of parties, and cheap places to drink and during night you can meet people everywhere

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

around 500-600 euros, with parties included ;)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Porto? Is there any advice you can give?

is not difficult, but in a lot of flats is no heating system inside, so the best way is find the room with bills included and for erasmus better is find something closer city centre

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Bacalhau come nata- cod fish with potatoes and cream
Pastel de nata- small cake

What places would you recommend visiting in Porto?

Ribeira, Foz, Cristal Palace

Is it good to eat out in Porto? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes is good, you can find a lot of nice and cheap place on Cedefoita street

Is the nightlife good in Porto? Where is good to go?

first Piolho and then is a lot of clubs in galeria de paris street, for example: we love porto, more club and Villa Club (especially on Monday)

What advice would you give future students heading to Porto?

find some accomodation close to centre
