Porto is very good place to live.
The weather, the people, the prices, the food.... everything together make Porto a perfect place to stay and study.
All the people who come to Porto say that people who live here are very friendly and make yourself feel at home.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

Peoplewho study in Porto in Erasmus programe like to live the experince as much as they can. So they go to classes and in the end they go to the center of the city ( where is the shops, caffes, pubs, monuments...) and have fun.
In the end of the day they normally dinner at home or in some restaurant with friends.
On friday or saturday is the perfect days to go out to the center of the city at night. The streets are full of peolple and music. ITS AMAZING!

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

Its very sheap to live in porto. Food and transports comparing to other cities in Europe are very sheap.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Porto? Is there any advice you can give?

Its easy to find a good and sheap place to stay in porto. I recommend OPORTO LOUNGE HOSTEL AND GUEST HOUSE.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food are very good in porto. We have a stronge menu with a lot of meet, porc and cow.
We love to eat a lot.
Normally we start with soup, bread and some tosts.
Next we eat the meet or the fish.
In the end we eat some sweet.
We make this in lunch and dinner all the time.
In porto we really eat a lot and the food are home made and with very good quality.

What places would you recommend visiting in Porto?

We have a lot historical places to visit. The best is buy a travel guide book and explore the city.

Is it good to eat out in Porto? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Its very good to eat out. Safe, sheap and good. No problem.
All restaurant in the center of the city are good.
I can recomend O TASCO, O MERCADO....
