My Erasmus Experience in Portugal was very exciting because it was the first time that I was visiting Portugal and my first destination was the Porto Airport. From there I took the Getbus and started my trip to go to my house in Braga in the middle of north Portugal. I stayed there for 2-3 days and after these beautiful city I went to my real city Fafe, where I was having my Erasmus and studying for the first period of the semester.

Fafe is a wonderful and little city which hasn't a big number of population. My teachers and coordinators of the İESFAFE university were perfect and they helped me very much. The lessons and accommodation were easy because you have nearby the university houses and you can rent the rooms for only 100 euro per month including the electricity, water, gas and wifi. If you want to go out in the night you have 2 options Praca de musica and Eskada, both are nightclubs for young people with lots of latino dances and music.

We made a lot of trips around Portugal. The cities that we visited were: Porto, Lisboa, Guimarães and others. I made a lot of new friends and meet many people. For Turkish people, if you want you have in Fafe and in Porto Turkish kebab makers or restaurants. You also have a lot of wine in Portugal. Porto is one of the most beautiful cities around the world. It is located on the douro river which has a great view and a great construction: the douro or porto bridge. Porto has very beautiful beaches like playa de Matosinhos. This is my experience in Portugal.
