Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?
Porto's weather is so lovely and people are very kind.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I took one semester in Porto.
What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?
Catholic University students study hard and their classes are quite hard.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
I think it's best choice in Europe!
What is the food like?
Francesinha was great.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?
No, I used a free website (now i don't remember the site name).
How much does it cost to live in Porto?
I paid €270 for my room each month. It's not A cheap one in Porto but it has a good location and there is a cleaning woman.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There is a language class in Catholic University, but I don't recommend it. It's not cheap though it's not that good quality.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?
By plane (I'm from South Korea so it's the only way! ).
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?
In summer, Ribeira is the best.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?
Café Santiago! You can eat perfect Francesinha at there.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
I don't know much about it.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?
You are so lucky! Enjoy Porto!
