A BEAUTIFUL CITY, AND I AM INTERESTED IN THE FOREST ECONOMICS, SINCE SOME PEOPLE TOLD ME CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF PORTUGAL IS FAMOUS ABOUT ECONOMIC COURSES, SO I CHOSE TO COME HERE.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

ONE YEAR ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP HERE, AND 1000 EURO VERY MONTH WHICH I RECEIVE TO HELP ME LIVE HERE.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

AS FAR AS I KNOW, A LOT OF MY FRIENDS LIKE TO STAY IN THEIR HOUSE, AND ALSO INCLUDE ME, I THINK MAYBE BECAUSE THE WEATHER

Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE CITY, BUT FOR THE UNIVERSITY, I THINK NO, BECAUSE UNTIL NOW I FEEL A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED FOR MY CLASSES

What is the food like?

I LIKE THE FOOD HERE VERY MUCH, ESPECIALLY THE FISH, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO COOK, IT'S A PITY

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?

NO, I FOUND IT ON THE INTERNET, AND NOW I AM SATISFIED WITH MY ROOM

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

AROUND 600 EURO VERY MONTH

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

YES, I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE PORTUGUESE COURSES IN MY UNIVERSITY

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

I THINK I WILL CHOOSE FLIGHT, ALTHOUGH IT'S NOT CHEAP, BUT IT WILL BE FASTER AND MORE CONVENIENT

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

IT DEPENDS

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

CHURCHES, MUSEUMS, SOME SMALL TOWNS

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?

BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE WEATHER, ESPECIALLY IN WINTER, IT'S VERY COLD IN THE HOUSE
