Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?

Because I wanted to go to a latin speaking country and also because I thought it will be sunny and have a warm weather.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship lasts between 4 and 5 months.

I received approximately 1400 euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

It's amazing! I think it's one of the best place to go! The city is living even during the night! You have a lot of things to do; surfing, shopping, trekking, partying, discovering new food, drinks, people! Whatever you like you can be sure to find it in Porto. I really felt in love with the city.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?

Yes for sure! The college iscap, was super. They really care about the students and try to do their best. The teachers were nice. And the courses really interesting.

What is the food like?

Personally, it was not that good. Fat and not so much vegetables.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?

No

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

170 without the bills. But I was lucky it was a cheap flatshare.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, it is. And if you don't speak Portuguese a lot of people speak English!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

By plane with rayanair.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

Adega!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Aliados, library lello, Sao bento station, matosinhos, Palacios do crystal,...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?

Be careful when you look for an accommodation on Facebook. A lot of people try to rip of you.
