because it was kind of an exotic country for me. Great weather, interesting culture and very good university

I got the scholarship for half an year, each month 450 euros

Porto is a fantastic city for all kinds of activities. Traveling, parties, perfect place for a student
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
Absolutely. Both city and University of Porto are amazing
What is the food like?
You can find all kinds of food here, you'll definitely find food that fits your taste.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?
No. Student buddy helped us to find a flat.
How much does it cost to live in Porto?
It depends what kind of needs you have. Some people can live with 300, for some even 600 is not enough.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I think that language is not that hard, but you have to put effort in learning it. Yes, there are language courses available for a fee of around 80 euros.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?
There are a lot of night clubs in Porto. Ribeira is a fantastic place for a night out.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
There are lots. Too many to name.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?
Try to travel as much as possible during your stay in Porto, because it's a very well located city from which you can visit a lot of other cities in Portugal and you can buy very cheap tickets with Ryanair to visit nearby countries.
