Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?
Because I wanted a place next to the sea with good weather. Also I liked the portugues language.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
9 months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?
It's very different. Their classes are more participative than mines in my city (Valencia), they have some english material like books, texts, visual material...
One thing that surprised me was their university clothes. They wear black suits with whit shirt and with black coat.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
Of course yes
What is the food like?
The francesinha and bacalhão com nata
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?
No, I found my accomodation before arrive there throught a facebook group
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, but I had it easier than a polish student, for example, because my own language is similar than portugues. There are courses availables in the University, it's no problem.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?
By plane
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?
I recommend to go on a night out in Porto to Electrorock, Plano B, Villa Club, Piolho, Cedofeita, Poveiros
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?
