summer : all the bars and discos get open to the street ...for weekends you can try some surf lessons, or to travel around the city if you rent a car
winter : surf classes
its a easy country to travel around north to south... take the opportunity

What is the food like?
There is a large variaty of tasty food.
Every coffee maks you loose your mind with all the delicious sweets.
Fish, grilled or boiled, speacially near the harbour, in Matosinhos.
Cheap see food in the north coats, where the fisherman villages are...

when you walk true the city there are a lot of advertisments about rooms... just walk around
