Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?
I've always wanted to discover this city!
How long is your stay? How much help do you receive?
Initially, I was meant to stay for 5 months (1st semester) but I have extended my stay for 10 months (I stayed for the second semester).
What is the student life in Porto?
It's great, the people are really nice and the city is great!
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
A definite YES.
What is the food like in this country?
Not as good as French food but nevertheless we can find really nice places - ideal for eating and drinking!
Did you have difficulties in finding accommodation in Porto?
None at all.
What is it like learning the language? Have you been to any language courses organised by the university?
I have indeed been to Portuguese language courses. Speaking language is difficult.
What is the most eco-friendly way to get to Porto from your city?
By planes.
What places would you recommend for partying in Porto?
Plano B, 77, Adega, Boulevard, villa...
Any places to eat in Porto? What are your favorite places?
Tapas restaurant , Diplomata...
And what cultural visits would you recommend?
The Clérigos, the San francisco church, Ponte Luis, Ribeira, the Douro valley.
Any advice for future students in Porto?
Take the full advantage, time flies by too quickly!
