Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?

Because I had to work in Leça, and Porto is the nearest city in Portugal.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I'm staying here for three month from december 30th.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

I don't know, it will be better to ask others.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?

Porto is a very nice city with a lot of great restaurants and buildings.

What is the food like?

It is so great, bacalhao com natas, bacalhao á bras, rojões, bacalhao a braga, francesinha,...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?

It was so difficult, Porto is not like others big city, it's more difficult but I was looking for a specific type of flat.

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

It depends (more or less 600 euros / month).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I believe so.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

Ribeira do Douro or near of Clerigos Tower.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?

I don't know, there are a lot of restaurants.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Livraria Lello for example.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?

There isn't.
