my scholarhip is for one semester and I receive 400 euro a month

YES

What is the food like?

DELICOUS FOOD, AND THERE ARE OTHER TRADITIONAL FOODS THAT ARE MORE DELICIOUS

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?

NO

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

IT DEPENDS ON THE LIFESTYLE YOU LEAD. AS FOR ME I USUALLY SPEND 300 euro per month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

portugueese is the easiest language and university of porto has special language courses for foreigners

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

Flight

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

I can't answer this one because I don't go out at night

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?

yes. Adega quim and Caxa aleixo

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

sao francisco church, casa da musica, cais da ribeira, soares dos reis museum just to mention a few

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?

if you are coming to porto keep in mind that people the people here are more friendly and the city is just good. for those who like partying, clubbing and any other sorts of entertainment you have chosen the right city in the name of porto. if you are still thinking of making a decision on whether to come or not, i would advice you rather to come than not. it is a life experience being here. if you are a christian the city has also some churches that speak English, but I preffer portugueese ones because that way i learn the language faster
