Beautiful city, good weather and good prices.

I will stay here for 2 years.
What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?
As it is a city full of students, there are a lot of parties in the city. For those who prefer other stuff, there are big shopping malls, bars, pubs, restaurants etc.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
Everybody I know is satisfied with the city. Even in winter, it is really warm. I also like the university, the teachers provide a good support for learning.
What is the food like?
Well, I usually cook for myself so I cannot properly assess that. But I tasted the traditional food and it is delicious.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?
No, I am staying in the student residence.
How much does it cost to live in Porto?
With 600 euros per month, you do more than fine.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are language courses available in the university. For the people with latin languages it is even easier to learn portuguese.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?
By plane, as my country is relatively far away, outside the European Union.
