Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?

It is a city full of mixed feelings: rain and ocean, sun and beaches, vintage and modernism. Everything is mixed in one place.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The Erasmus scholarship, mine was for one semester, is quite enough to enjoy the experience for 5 months. The expenditures depend on the person.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

You have a lot of fun doing anything here, even studying involves having fun.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?

Yes, for sure. For the lovers of "Harry Potter" this is an ideal place to live and to study!

What is the food like?

No matter how it is, the food is part of the experience, so you should try the Portuguese cuisine!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?

No, Facebook helped! There are a lot of options and it makes the process a little bit harder, but if you can contact one of the students and ask for feedback on the place they lived in, they will help for sure.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is beautiful. If you are hanging out with many Portuguese people they will help you, if you prefer international ones than the courses are for you! And yes, there are courses available!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

The are many low cost plane tickets!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

Just get lost in the city, it is the best way to discover it!
