Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?
I've always wanted to visit Portugal, so Erasmus was a great opportunity to make my dreams come true ;)
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I've been in Porto for one semester, I didn't receive much money from my University, it was 270 euro per month.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
Yes, I recommend it to everybody who wants to spend great time in such a beautiful place! :)
What is the food like?
the food is delicious ;)
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?
No, it was not a problem for me to find something.
How much does it cost to live in Porto?
Porto is not very expensive, so it's quite simple to live there ;)
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language for me was quite easy, people there are very open-minded and friendly so there is no problem to communicate with them ;) and.. there are some language courses also.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?
It's a little bit difficult because there are no direct flights from any city of Poland to Porto. So there is only one possibility to travel with cheap airlines with a transfer in one of the european city.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?
There are many places to go to.. Lock Club, Contagiarte, Villa Club - these are the clubs where I spent much time ;p And of course mondays at Ribeira !
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
There are maaany places to visit: Casa da Musica, Serralves Museum, Sao Bento station, gardens of Palacio de Cristal, Lello Library... and so on ;)
