Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?

Because I've been in Portugal before and I really loved it, that's why I decided to make my Erasmus there.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

scholarship for 1 semester, 2000 Euro from my Univesity

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

Partying, sightseeing, travelling, not much sleep :)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?

Of course I would! :)

What is the food like?

I didn't like Portuguese cuisine much, but I loved seafood, especially octopus and schrimps.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

Hard to say, depends of the month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

Low-fare airlines Ryanair - Warsaw-Milano-Porto or Warsaw-Paris Beauvais-Porto.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

More Club, Bar 117, Breyner 85

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?

Most of the restaurants on Gaia (other side of the River)

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Old town of Porto, in general, famous Harry Potter bookstore, churches, gardens, squares and Clerigos Tower, both sides of Douro River, Ponte de Luis.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Porto in the future?

You should go to Porto and check it by yourselves, you will never regret! :)
