Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?

I just made random decision and i don't regret that.

What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?

For me it was sth different than student life in Poland. There was time to studying and relaxing as well.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?

Yes. It's the best plac for your erasmus expirience. You can met people from all over the wolrd.

What is the food like?

Food is delicious, but only for me ( polish woman:). I like all kind of portuguese fish dishes. Once time i was trying alentejo fish(or sth like that).It was the best flavour in my life.

How much does it cost to live in Porto?

I you want to live quite economically, you can survive for 350 -400 Euro ( if you will find cheap room ). 500 Euro per month is enough.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, but you have to pay. It's depend on the course which you want to choose. I payed 240 euro for one semester of annual course. Courses which are organizing by the University are cheaper than privat courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Porto from your city?

It's long way. First you have to find good plane ticket and there is no rule about the prices. It's more cheap when you are buying round-trip ticket. Then You have to buy bus ticket to the city where is your flight, and check transport between this city and the aitport. It's usually took one whole day, if you don't have to wait long for your change.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Porto?

Galeria the Paris, Retoria and Ribeira (only on Monday)

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Porto?

There is a lot of good retaurant. Only try to avoid "restaurants" where they are selling any kind of fast-food. Luckyli it's not quite common in Porto. I heard the best Francesinha are serving in Bar Santiago.
