Why did you choose to go to Porto, Portugal?
I've been there before some days and I came back to get to know better the city and also to study portuguese.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I got the scholarship for 4 months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Porto?
There's lot's of party and other entertainment opportunities but it's also worth to participate in some classes to get to know more people and the real portuguese lifestyle. You can also travel a lot thanks to many cheap flights from Porto.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Porto to other students?
Definitely yes.
What is the food like?
It's delicious, especially francesinha and wine.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Porto?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Porto?
It depends on your lifestyle. The accommodation (single room) is about 250 euro. There are lot's of discounts for Erasmus students so it's worth to get the ESN card
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are some courses at the University but the best way to learn portuguese is living with some portuguese students.
