What is it like to live in Poitiers? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Poitiers is a nice city, though only the city centre is the dynamic area and during vacations it's totally empty. On Thursdays are quite entertaining I think, in those cases you need to find the good people to hang out with. The city is really pretty, can be either really calm or really loud.

What is the student lifestyle like in Poitiers?

It's quite good, many students mostly, many events but few adds about them you have to seek for them on Facebook, if the city is empty people are there at some concerts.

How much does it cost to live in Poitiers?

Not much, way less than Paris.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Poitiers? Is there any advice you can give?

Not difficult if you don't do it too late, I highly recommend to find a flat in the city centre with flatmates, the campus is actually quite far away.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I recommend the "What's Up Coffee" and "Colombus" cause we don't have Starbucks and these are its equivalents.

What places would you recommend visiting in Poitiers?

Futuroscope, churches, hidden places which look awesome, the charm of small streets and of our architecture.

It is, mainly when there's the smallest event everyone go there.
