What is it like to live in Perugia? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Perugia is a little and ancient city in the center of Italy. For its small size is easy to live and move inside the city. Friendly people,nice places and other typical things make the city comfortable.It's famous in Italy for its multiculturalism that is a sign of progress but it requires a lot of tolerance Sometimes this can create problems or misunderstandings.In the centre of the city there are monuments to visit like the "Università per Stranieri" and big events like "Eurochoccolate","Italian festival of journalism" and "Umbria Jazz".

What is the student lifestyle like in Perugia?

The students come from many cities of Italy.It is easy to follow courses at the university. The relationship between students and teachers is great. There are meeting places and small libraries in all the city.There are parks where you can do sports.In the evening can go out for a walk or go to have fun in pubs or nightclubs.

How much does it cost to live in Perugia?

It is not a very expensive city .Prices are average of the Italian cities.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Perugia? Is there any advice you can give?

No. There are so many ads in Univercity, local magazines and also real estate agents who deal with this.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

As all of Italian cuisine is very good. In Umbria,that is the Region in general,the tipical dishes are the "Norcina" the "tartufo" and the "Tagliata".

What places would you recommend visiting in Perugia?

There are a lot of nice and faschinating places. The "Università per Stranieri",all the historical center, "Palazzo dei Priori", the "Morlacchi Theater" and the "Fontana Maggiore".

Is it good to eat out in Perugia? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You can eat well throughout the Region. There are cottages and relais where you can eat the good meat.

Is the nightlife good in Perugia? Where is good to go?

There isn't a specific place. There are so many clubs and pubs.

What advice would you give future students heading to Perugia?

I hope to the future students to study, have fun ,make new experiences, learn tolerance and the secrets of the other lifestyles.
