Perugia is a small city in the heart of Italy. It's full of history and people are quite reserved but kind. The landscape is amazing. In the city centre you can find any kind of pub and amenities. I reccomend this city because is easy to find friends from all over the world.

What is the student lifestyle like in Perugia?

Usually people spend their time in pubs or discotheques. There are also many activities organised by University as concerts, meetings and exhibitions.

How much does it cost to live in Perugia?

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Perugia? Is there any advice you can give?

You can easily find an accommodation in Perugia! There are many agencies that can help you to find a suitable place where you can live. If you are looking for a cheaper place where to stay, you can try to hire a room in the university residences!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

All the Italian food is very good, so this is not a problem for the foreigners. The traditional dishes of Perugia are usually made up by meat and cheese. Very good are also desserts! As a student you probably will receive a Student card that allow you to eat at the university's cantine with a lower price.

What places would you recommend visiting in Perugia?

Perugia has many museums and places all deserving to be visited. The most famous is the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria.

Is it good to eat out in Perugia? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

To find something of good to eat is easy but sometimes not exactly cheap. I suggest to visit some restaurants that cooked traditional food. Anyway, you can find pizza, pasta and French fries everywhere!

Is the nightlife good in Perugia? Where is good to go?

If you love beer, you should go to Elfo's pub. Near the city you can find discotheques, you can reach them by a free bus that carry people from the city centre to the discotheque and back.

What advice would you give future students heading to Perugia?

In my opinion, Perugia is a city to live in the day more than in the night. If you love arts, history, smart people and nature... Perugia is the right city for you!
