Why did you choose to go to Perugia, Italia?

Because I knew it was a lovely city in the middle of Italy, and I had gotten some advices about Perugia. Don't regret at all.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

One year long. I didn't receive enough money to afford everything, so my parents helped me a lot, principally in the very first months.

What is the student lifestyle like in Perugia?

What could I say. There are lots of students. You get everywhere just on foot.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Perugia to other students?

Yes, definitely.

What is the food like?

Good. Pasta and pizza became the base of my diet.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Perugia?

No. The day after my arrival I got it.

How much does it cost to live in Perugia?

Between 225 and 300 per month, no expenses included.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are some courses you can attend. It was easy to learnt Italian (just because I speak Spanish).

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Perugia from your city?

Ryanair.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Perugia?

Domus, Urban, but above all, to the Piazza.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Perugia?

Yes. Pizzeria Mediterranea.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Umbria Art Gallery.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Perugia in the future?

Just enjoy the city. It will be the best year of your lives.
