What is it like to live in Patras? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I totally recommend Patras to live in, it's great specially for students. The distances are small and the transportation is good.

What is the student lifestyle like in Patras?

Parks, parties and concerts will entertain you. The center of the city has many cafes, clubs and it is close to the university and the sea.

How much does it cost to live in Patras?

For students is a great choice because you can find discounts in cafes and restaurants. I could say that the cost is 300 per month (no flat).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Patras? Is there any advice you can give?

There are many websites to visit in order to catch a flat. My advice is to pay attetion to the distances. For instance, if you want a flat next to the university you should seek for buses, supermarkets and others.

Many recipes and dishes are the same all over the country. My favourite dish is pasta with meatballs.

What places would you recommend visiting in Patras?

Must see: the castle of the city and the view, the new park, center local taverns and the port.

You can find good and cheap places to eat.

It's great. You will totally enjoy it. Patras has many clubs to go.

What advice would you give future students heading to Patras?

Search for accomodation next to the center. It's easier to move by bus or train to the university.
