What is it like to live in Patras? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would say it depends from my point of view basic.

What is the student lifestyle like in Patras?

Student life is kind of active especially in the Warmer months.

How much does it cost to live in Patras?

Not much really. Bear also in mind tha there is this restaurant-canteen in the university which serves meals for 1 euro or even free at closing time.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Patras? Is there any advice you can give?

Its not that hard. There is a plethora of ΕΝΟΙΚΙΑΖΕΤΑΙ signs on many buildgs which means something is for rent inside.. you can just explore the areas you like and the ones around.. Patras is a small city which means you want really be afected by the distance unless you live on the suburbus.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find places to eat 24/7 in a very reasonable price. There is also a thing called Λαική Laiki - the greek name of open mainly but not only grocery street market in very cheap prices.

What places would you recommend visiting in Patras?

I would recomend walking through the whole city from the borders of ''forest'' Dasylio, Tritaki, Vlatero.

Is it good to eat out in Patras? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Its ok. I guess patras is very food-drink oriented.

Is the nightlife good in Patras? Where is good to go?

For your purposes Yes, you ll get wasted quite easily.

What advice would you give future students heading to Patras?
