Why did you choose to go to Patras, Greece?
Because was my unique chance in Greece.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Six months and my scolarship it's about 400 € per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Patras?
Patras it's full of students, almost 1/3 of the population, so everything is made up for the students. Anyway it dipends from your attitude.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Patras to other students?
In one hand yes, because it's very cheap and funny, but in other hand i think that it's not useful to spend 6 months or more there, because the city is very little.
What is the food like?
In Patras you can find every kind of greek and mediterranian food, and i think that's enough.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Patras?
To find accommodation it's quite easy.
How much does it cost to live in Patras?
I think all included, from 300 € until 500 €.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The university it's not the best about the languages, but i think because now they are in strike from several weeks. But in Patras everybody speaks english.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Patras from your city?
By ferry.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Patras?
In the center, but sometimes could be boring.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Museum archeological, library...
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Patras in the future?
Find a house in the center because to move in Patras it's not easy, and use Patras like a point to make excursions in the Peloponnese.
