What is it like to live in Pardubice? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is very quiet and people are kind. The problem is that few czech people do not speak english but it is not a big problem because you do not need english everytime.

What is the student lifestyle like in Pardubice?

A real treasure. The teachers are nice and helpful and you can find the courses on university platform.
You can find everything in campus. Near the campus is a Lidl and not very far away is Kaufland, Tesco or Albert.
The apartments are nice with new furniture.
In campus you can find a bar named Acko where you can go out with your Erasmus friends.

How much does it cost to live in Pardubice?

Around 400 euros = 200 the rent for a month and 200 for food and other things as clothes, drinks or entertainment.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pardubice? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it is very easy because the university has their own accommodation and it is easier than finding yourself one.
My advice is to send them the deposit as fast as you can because you can find a better appartment.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I liked goulas and kebab from turkish restaurant :) .

What places would you recommend visiting in Pardubice?

Zamek - the castle from center.
The castle from the hill - here at the beggining of summer are a lot of cherry trees so you should go there ! :D

Is it good to eat out in Pardubice? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You should go to Atrium where you can find Kfc and others restaurants.

Is the nightlife good in Pardubice? Where is good to go?

It is very quiet in the night but you can find some good places for having a nice night as Acko, Didi Baba and Klec.

What advice would you give future students heading to Pardubice?

Do not forget your gloves because the wind is very strong in winter and your hand will suffer.

Have fun and just go and walk in town and the edges of the city !
