Why did you choose to go to Pamplona, Spain?

The university itself, the characteristics of the city and the opinion of previous exchange students caught my attention.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received a scholarship of about 1000€ for the 4 months that I stayed in Pamplona.

What is the student lifestyle like in Pamplona?

The environment is very friendly. Students study together and help each other, and when it is possible they meet in local bars to have a good time.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Pamplona to other students?

Definitely!

What is the food like?

It is very good! It is impossible to go to Pamplona and not love Spanish food!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Pamplona?

It was very easy for me because the university website provided all the necessary information for me to find the room that best meet my expectations.

How much does it cost to live in Pamplona?

With all expenses included, I would say about 500€-600€ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grip with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are language courses available in the university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Pamplona from your city?

The most economical way is by train, that links Lisbon and San Sebastian. Then, there is a bus that goes from there to Pamplona.

There is also the possibility to go to Pamplona by plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Pamplona?

There are a lot of good places to go out at night, from bars to discos. I really cannot choose among them because they are all so different.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Pamplona?

I really liked the Mexican restaurants there.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I would say the Old Town; it is very interesting.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Pamplona in the future?

An umbrella will be your best friend! Enjoy every second of it because time really flies!
