What is it like to live in Opole? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I think it is a very nice city, not too overcrowded and cosy. It is not very big but has all a city needs to have, main square, some old beautifull buildings and students.

What is the student lifestyle like in Opole?

Just like everywhere. Parties in dormitories, clubs or in student's apartements.

How much does it cost to live in Opole?

It's quite cheap. To have a great dinner in a very good restaurant, you may need only 10 euros, while in student cafeterias, you may approximately need 5 euros. To rent a single room, you may need around 100 euros.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Opole? Is there any advice you can give?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It's good and quite cheap. Try pierogi and bigos. The best are Polish soups and the cost of them in a cantine can be even 1 euro.

What places would you recommend visiting in Opole?

The best is the zoo in Opole. It is considered that they have the best place for monkeys in Europe. I think it is true. Also areas around the river are great to have a walk and do some exercise.
