Generally, what is National University of Ireland, Galway like?

It is a beautiful college whether it is in terms of the architecture or in terms of the people and lectures. it is an amazing work environment but it also allows for a great social life. Everything is made for the students to enjoy their experience there and find people they share interests with.

What are the facilities like?

The facilities are quite modern and it is very easy to find your around as there are maps pretty much everywhere.

What are the tutors like?

The tutors are amazing! They make the theoretical lectures feel a bit more real and help us to improve our practical skills.

Are the lessons easy in National University of Ireland, Galway?

The lessons are relatively easy as long as you attend all the lectures. However you will need to do the supplementary reading as it can be very helpful to make yourself stand out from the other students. Getting good grades is easy if you work a minimum.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

The University through the student union and the diverse societies organises a lot of activities for student life. I joined many societies during my year in Galway and it was a great way for me to meet new people who shared my interests.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

The quality of teaching is amazing. You can actually see that the lecturers want you to succeed and that they have a passion for what they do. The lectures for the most part are extremely interractive which is great because it keeps things interesting.

Are there any stories you can share?

The University is by a beautiful river and there are a lot of picnic tables there. It's a great place to chill and jsut hangout when it is not raining.
