What is it like to live in Nottingham? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a nice city, fairly typical with the normal high street restaurants and shops that all UK cities have. It's easy to get around and is bike-friendly and fairly flat.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nottingham?

There are LOADS of students, it's a student town with lots of student deals, discounts and nights on in the city centre.

How much does it cost to live in Nottingham?

Rent can vary between cheap and fairly expensive depending on what sort of flat you want to live in. University accommodation is generally much more expensive than private shared accommodation.
Food and drinks are fairly standard.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Nottingham? Is there any advice you can give?

There are lots of adverts online, somewhere like gumtree.com or spareroom.co.uk has a lot to offer.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are the same standard restaurants - Wagamama, Nandos, Zizzi's, Jamie Oliver's, Prezzo. And some others. My favourite place to eat is Bonzai Sushi & Noodle bar, it's in the centre and is absolutely wonderful for Japanese food -which I love.

What places would you recommend visiting in Nottingham?

The University park is lovely to walk around as is Wollaton park. There are lots of activities in the centre of the city and Alton Towers is only an hour or so away by car (there are buses and trains which take a little longer) which is a great theme park.

Is it good to eat out in Nottingham? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Bonzai sushi & noodle bar. Best ever!

Is the nightlife good in Nottingham? Where is good to go?

There are loads of places to suit everyone, my favourite is Bodega, but there are clubs and pubs and live music places and all sorts.
