How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The duration of my scolarship was one academic year (8 months). I received 360€ each month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nottingham?

Really good, you party a lot.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Nottingham to other students?

Definitely yes! But I’m at Nottingham Trent University which is very modern and at least my department is great.

What is the food like?

There are various places to go, so there is a lot of international food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Nottingham?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Nottingham?

I pay £90 a week for a small room in a private hall right in the city centre.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are classes but I didn´t attend them, also there are lots of events like the "Language Cafe" and the "Meet and Speak" where you can practice.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Nottingham from your city?

The cheapest and quickest is probably a Ryanair flight but I’m taking the train to London and the coach from London to Nottingham.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Nottingham?

Ocean Wednesday is a must, Dirty Monday in PomPom and some of the pubs like Pitcher & Piano.
