Why did you choose to go to Nottingham, United Kingdom?

Because the University campus was beautiful and there were a lot of really interesting classes.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I went for 4 months and got close to 1500€.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nottingham?

Very dynamic, there are a lot of student societies and everyone is pretty relaxed.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Nottingham to other students?

Yes, definitely.

What is the food like?

British food isn't the best but there were a few good restaurants around. I especially liked the Portuguese dinner next to an old cemetery.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Nottingham?

No, I stayed at one of their student accomodations and everything was great!

How much does it cost to live in Nottingham?

A bit, it's the UK, after all. But nothing compared to London or Edinburgh, obviously.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are languages courses for those who don't understand English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Nottingham from your city?

From Porto I caught a Ryanair flight to London and then the bus to the city. Total time 5/6 hours.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Nottingham?

The Johnson Arms if you like to have a few beers and talk, Rock City if you like to party to good music.
