Why did you choose to go to Nijmegen, Netherlands?
Because the course provided at HAN was most suitable for me.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I did not get a scholarship.
What is the student lifestyle like in Nijmegen?
Many students, pretty free schedule, good university sports and average nightlife.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Nijmegen to other students?
My focus is more on the course so that was the main choice maker.
What is the food like?
A lot of international food, many Asian, Italian or French places.
Was it difficult to find your accommodation in Nijmegen?
The university provides an option (Vossenveld) of accommodation halls, pretty cheap but kind of far from everything.
How much does it cost to live in Nijmegen?
I paid 323 euros for rent.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Dutch is hard for people without knowing something about it, but most people speak English adequately enough to get by easily.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Nijmegen from your city?
From where I was, it was cycling.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Nijmegen?
Not my type of music and clubs are pretty crowded but then, people seem to like it.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Nijmegen?
Favourite is Pinoccio.
