Yes
What is the food like?
Delicious. Rich gastronomy all over France and much different than back home. Eating out gets very pricey very fast.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
We are in the French program. All courses are taught in French
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Nice from your city?
Plane.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Nice in the future?
Nice is a very expensive city so be prepared to pay. Beautiful landscape and wonderful weather. Be sure to interact with the locals. They may seem closed at first but they will open up eventually.
