A great place to live. Lots of places to visit around with great weather and lovely beaches.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nice?

It is quite fun to be a student as the city is just the perfect size. It is not too big like Paris, etc., but at the same time, not too small either. It is the perfect place to keep you closely knit. The old town is quite nice to hang out. There are lots of nice bars but the prices are too expensive.

How much does it cost to live in Nice?

The rent is a deciding factor which can be around 550 EUR for a decent appartment. Apart from that another 400 EUR would be quite sufficient.

Accommodation is quite simple to find as there are many websites to choose from. Can also contact real estate agencies in Nice for further assistance. Google is good enough.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Nice is a mix of nicoise cuisine and all other international ones. There are many specialties like duck or the salad nicoise or the socca. Overall the food in Nice is very good but may not be really cheap.

What places would you recommend visiting in Nice?

It is all about going around. There is Monaco, Cannes, Grasse (perfume village), Eze, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Vence, etc.

Lots indeed! La Rosettiserie (french cuisine) would be my ultimate favorite though!

Decent. Le Sansas, Wayne's, Apotheka and High Club.

Congratulations on choosing Nice! You will not regret this decision. No special advice, but just make sure you get a good deal on an appartment and that it is close to the bus stations and you'll be good to go!
