What is it like to live in New Delhi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is very vibrant and lively.Sure it can be a bit overwhelming initially,it takes time to adjust to the weather, the food and the people if you are new but the city is more than welcoming and you will definitely find it interesting if not anything else.

What is the student lifestyle like in New Delhi?

It depends on your University.But Delhi is a hub of students from all over India and with so many reputed Universities situated here, students lead a pretty interesting and at times busy lives here. but there are plenty of places hereto chill and hang out after a long day.

How much does it cost to live in New Delhi?

Well it all relative. The cost of living in india itself is not too high and Delhi is definitely not that expensive itself. In the right area you can find cheap places to lives and as for the other expenses, they are not that pricey either. Although maintaining a private vehicle can be a little expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in New Delhi? Is there any advice you can give?

It depends on the location. If you are looking of a place near the campus are you will have plenty of options. most of the universities have hostels as well. the rooms are available with all kinds of facilities and in many price ranges, but the area is the biggest deciding factor in the cost.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is a little spicy in India in general. Although there are plenty of non-vegetarian options available, but there are many places which serve only vegetarian food. But its never too difficult to find a cuisine of your liking.
My favorite indian food is dal makhani and naan.

Is the nightlife good in New Delhi? Where is good to go?

it's pretty good especially in south Delhi. But women's safety is an issue here.

What advice would you give future students heading to New Delhi?

Go with an open mind and be ready for over crowded streets and trains, a little bit of heat in the summers and lots of spicy food.
It's a good place to be in, you will see so many traditions and customs, it will surely be a lifetime experience.
