What is it like to live in New Delhi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I was born and raised in delhi. and did my schooling as well as degree from delhi university.new delhi is a capital of India.so it is fantabulous city where you find lots of people from every corner of india.if you visit new delhi then you can easily define what India is ..and you can enjoy different different Indian cuisines ,cultures ,traditions in delhi.and you can visit lots of historical monuments malls etc etc.it is impossible to define what delhi is just I want to say it is amazing.

What is the student lifestyle like in New Delhi?

Student life is best part of life in new delhi..there are 3 central universities of India in delhi.and lots of institutes from where you can gain lots of knowledge.and there are many caffeteria which is only for students..one unique thing is that there are some markets near to every university,from where you can get fancy items and tasty fast food.there are some student unions also like NSUI ,SFI ,AISA ETC leaders are selected by students vote and if student face any problem they can contact student union..

How much does it cost to live in New Delhi?

It is not very costly there are many paying guests house 4000rs. Including all.and you can avail private accommodation in flat at 8000 per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in New Delhi? Is there any advice you can give?

No it is not difficult.near the universities you can find lots of ads on the walls.as well as you contact agents they will help you in finding accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Don't ask for food in delhi because if write about delhi food then this space is not enough.in short I can say that you can get total food of India in delhi..some of the famous food among students are ( golgappe ,chpao bhaaji,chole bhature ,chowmein,dahi balla etc..I like everything which I mentioned above and my favourite cuisine is mughlai cuisine like Qorma ,biryaani,stew,kadhai gosht,seekh kebab..

What places would you recommend visiting in New Delhi?

There are many places you should visit like old delhi ,india gate ,cannught place,lotus temple,red fort ,old fort,city walk mall,qutub minar ,nizamuddin dargah ,and world wonder TAJMAHAL just 200 km from delhi.

Is it good to eat out in New Delhi? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are many restaurants and hotels where you should definitely eat like karim hotel,sagar ratna,al bake restaurant,nathus,aggarwal,rasheed hotel etc.AND PLEASE DONT FORGET TO EAT ROADSIDE FOOD IT IS MOUTHWATERING.

Is the nightlife good in New Delhi? Where is good to go?

ya night life is nice in delhi .if you want to see the roads or go for a long drive then it is very beautiful at night.there are many pubs and disco which open whole night.

What advice would you give future students heading to New Delhi?

lots of fun ,knowledge,food,monuments,malls,adventure,crazy items,different traditions,customs ,temples,mosques are waiting for you in NEW DELHI..but take of your belongings and never trust on stupid peoples and have fun that's it.
