How did the city of Nantes appear to you? Do you recommend it? How is the city?
I have studied in Nantes for 2 years in Nantes in a sports school (STAPS). Nantes is an enjoyable city where there is a large population of young people. It's a student town.
How is the atmosphere for students in Nantes?
The atmosphere is very cool. There are many parties organised by the different colleges (especially on Thursday nights).
What is the cost of living in Nantes?
Life is not overly expensive in Nantes. It's not exorbitantly priced!
Is it complicated to find an accommodation in Nantes? Do you have tips to share?
It's not hard to find an accommodation in Nantes. I was in a flatshare with two friends. To live in a flatshare is the best plan, on either economic or social sides.
How is the food like in the city? What are your favourite dishes?
There are many university restaurants. We have the choice.
Which are the places you recommend to have a look at in Nantes?
The city center is great but there are also le Bord de l'Erdre (on the river banks of the Erdre), les Machines de Nantes, l'Ile de Nantes, etc.

There are nice restaurants in the city center.
Which places do you advise to hang out in Nantes?
The city center or L'Ile de Nantes (the Living club, Loft, etc. ).
Which advice do you want to share with the future Erasmus students who will come to Nantes?
Nantes is a city where it feels good to live. It's a sports town. It's often grey outside... The sea is 1 hour away from Nantes. The tramway allows to travel easily. Nantes is a nice town to come to study.
