What is it like to live in Nantes? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Nantes is a vibrant city, lots to do, no matter when. I would definitely recommend this city being by far one of the most pleasurable cities I've lived in (I've previously lived in Singapore, Cergy-Pontoise, small towns in Normandy and in the center of France)

What is the student lifestyle like in Nantes?

It's great! it's practically a student city

How much does it cost to live in Nantes?

Living in Nantes in terms of cost is not different from the rest of France, perhaps only a little cheaper than in Paris for certain activities ? drinks at bars, entrance to clubs etc.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Nantes? Is there any advice you can give?

It is quite difficult so plan ahead.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

there is a lot to choose from in Nantes, lots of different cuisines!

What places would you recommend visiting in Nantes?

ile de Nantes is on the top of my list :)

Is it good to eat out in Nantes? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes! I like the area around Bouffay to eat :)

Is the nightlife good in Nantes? Where is good to go?

it's great! just have to be careful not to be alone if you are a girl in some places.
