What is it like to live in Nantes? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's cool. There are a lot of things to do, especially in the cultural field.

I would describe Nantes as a kind of green city, a town where it's nice to be in summer (not to hot and not to cold) with grass and bars.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nantes?

There is a lot of events and places to be, for example the "LU" and the "nid". There are nice places to party and you can also visit a lot of exhibitions in the "LU".

How much does it cost to live in Nantes?

It's not too expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Nantes? Is there any advice you can give?

It could be difficult (especially in the "direct" center), so don't be late!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is quite normal. If you want to go to the restaurant, go to the neighbourhood of Bouffay. There you can find a lot of different restaurants.

What places would you recommend visiting in Nantes?

Machines de l'ïle

Nid (in the Anne de Bretagne tower)

LU (lieu unique, next to the railway stop Duchesse Anne)

Is the nightlife good in Nantes? Where is good to go?

Yes, you can go to the "LU" and around the "Machine de l'île". Sometimes there are some concerts outside (on the grass near the river the "Loire").

What advice would you give future students heading to Nantes?

Go to "le nid" id you want to see Nantes from a roof! (at night it's even better)
